The tour was a good mixture of significant religious temples, the Bangalore Palace and the peaceful calm of the botanical gardens. Divakar was personable and provided interesting commentary about the sites, as well as chatting about life and culture in India.
Excellent tour

Thanks to the team at 5 Senses Walks I have the most extraordinary adventure in Bangalore today. I was promptly picked up at my hotel and then taken to the Botanic Garden for a guided tour and refreshing coconut drink. We then visited the Bull Temple where I had the privilege of learning about local history, spirituality and culture. We stopped for another delightful juice treat which was vibrant and full of flavour. We then travelled to the Iskon Temple where we saw beautiful tributes to Krishna. We then travelled to the Bangalore Palace to learn about former rulers of the Mysore and Bangalore regions. My travel guide was so knowledgeable and shared his insights into the history of the region. Our final stop before lunch was the Legislative Chambers which was architecturally fascinating coming so many different styles. We finished the day with a traditional Southern Indian meal which was exquisite. My tour guide and my driver made me feel comfortable, safe and cared for the entire time. They were incredibly knowledgeable and really appreciated their time and expertise. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to cover the highlights of Bangalore with limited time, solo female travellers and for those who wanting a curated tour of the city.
